Pernille Stafford - Resonate Interiors
Having worked for several design practices, Pernille Stafford founded Canvas Creative in 1997, merging it into Scott Brownrigg in 2006. In April 2011, Pernille joined the interiors division of TP Bennett leading projects for PWC, JP Morgan and British Telecom before launching her award winning interior design practice Resonate Interiors in 2012.
Pernille Stafford is a strong motivator with passion for design; she creates & delivers memorable visionary interior spaces for clients. As well as bringing up her two boys and busy family life, she is actively involved in the industry and sits on the British Council of Offices Board of Management, is a member for the Chartered Society of Designers and is a judge of the Design Guild Mark Awards and Mixology Awards 2013.
Resonate Interiors’ ability to imbue a sense of quality and rigorous detailing throughout all of its projects, primarily focused on commercial and hospitality interiors, cements Stafford’s passion for design and specification at every level. This passion is greater surmised in Resonate Interiors’ raison d’etre: ‘The desire to create memorable environments, special spaces that engage with the occupant at many levels’.
Created to have empathy with its clients, staff and all who engage in its niche practice, Resonate Interiors supports UK businesses and manufacturing wherever possible. Sebastian Sandler - XUL Architecture
Sebastian is one of London's leading architects as the owner of XUL Architecture with offices in both Belsize Park and Hampstead, the heart of prime London residential property.
XUL Architecture is a commercially minded, client centred architecture practice. We are efficient and responsive, and put particular focus on the client’s experience as well as in finding ingenious ways of bringing light into architecture.

His unique understanding of the design and building processes allow him to analyse the close relationship between design and cost, ensuring his projects are delivered on time, to budget and to the highest possible specifications. He is interested in researching different ways of introducing natural light to architecture. Prior to opening XUL, Sebastian qualified as an Architect in Argentina, and worked in a number of architectural practices in both Buenos Aires and the UK.

Luke Barnett - Project Manager
Luke is one of the most well known project managers in the UK Construction Industry. He has been instrumental in projects at Wembley Stadium, Westminster Abbey, the British Museum, Virgin Active, the W Hotel, the Dorchester, Selfridges, Harrods, Harvey Nichols and Chelsea Football Club.
He has construction experience with leading designers such as Tom Ford and Christian Dior as well as the UK largest home building companies such as Berkeley Homes, Galliford Try, Higgins, Galliard Homes, Ellmers Construction and Mulalley. His expertise is paramount to translate design into construction and is an integral member of the House of the Year team.
Costas Demetriou - Commercial Director
With over 15 years professional experience in both project and cost management with a record of successful delivery in the residential, hotel and commercial sectors Costas is impeccably placed to add value to House of the Year. Working for a range of developers, investors, private individuals and end user clients. Costas' experience covers a broad range of schemes from leading new build and conversion projects, complex refurbishments in operational buildings through to managing pre acquisition due diligence across multiple sites.
He has worked for various businesses ranging from global businesses to small start ups and on projects with a construction value ranging from £1million to £1billion.
